Hiawatha Horse Park Selections Saturday July 18,2026 2026

5 min read

Post time is 6:30 PM for a stacked twelve-race card at Hiawatha, featuring a strong slate of Ontario Sired Stakes and Prospect Series action for three-year-old pacers on top of the regular claiming and conditioned events.

Tonight’s featured races are the OSS Grassroots #3 and Prospect Series divisions for three-year-old colt pacers, split across four races on the card (Races 3, 8, and 9 for the Sires Stakes; Races 7 and 10 for the Prospect Series). These stakes races showcase some of the province’s top young pacing talent, with purses reaching $30,000 for the Grassroots legs.

The marquee event of the night is Race 9, headlined by TILTHECOWSCOMEHOME, a colt with over $400,000 in career earnings and morning-line favorite at even money, trained by leading conditioner Carl Jamieson. He’ll face a competitive field including GOIN FOR BROKE and NEVERLEAVEHARLAN in what should be the class test of the night among the sophomore pacers.
