Welcome back to opening night at Georgian Downs.We have a fantastic card lined up for you — ten races of harness racing, kicking off tonight with a mix of pacing and trotting action. First post is set for this evening, so get your programs ready and pick your winners.

  1. Timeless (2-1) — Over $77K earned in 2025 including a Grade 1 stakes attempt, vastly more class than this field with trainer Bax at 30%.
  2. Northern Genius (3-1) — Third last out and improving, ran a solid 1:59.3 at Flamboro May 28 and suits a horse that finds form gradually.
  3. Talbot Patriot (4-1) — Second back-to-back at Flamboro in May, consistent front-runner who should get a great trip with Sorrie.
  4. Value Longshot: Sister Scarlett (9-2) — Second at London May 19 in a career-best effort, trainer/driver Etsell knows her inside-out and she’s been freshened since last out.

  1. D A Temptation (2-1) — Second twice in her last four and beaten a head Apr 28 at London, fits this class perfectly.
  2. Allstar Twinkle (3-1) — Back class from Grand River and Woodbine, trainer Goodale has her prepped with recent qualifying lines.
  3. TJ Bliss (7-2) — Won Apr 25 at this exact class, third twice in last three starts and trainer Auciello is sharp at 20%.
  4. Value Longshot: Drill Bit Penny (7-2) — Dropping from $9,900 NW3 company where she was competitive, trainer Demers is running at a blistering 36% win rate in 2026.

  3. Demirose (9-2) — Third in the London Classic last out against quality foes, three cheques in three starts and trainer Etsell has her peaking.
  4. Value Longshot: Romancing Ritz (4-1) — Won at London May 11 in her first career victory and is improving every start, trainer Cochrane wins at 30%.

RACE 7 — Pace · $9,000 · F&M NW 2 Races or $15K Lifetime

  1. Jalapeno Cheddar (2-1) — Second at London May 8 in a sharp 1:58.4, trainer Beaton at 20% and Ryan is the right reinsman for this improving filly.
  2. Sunflower Hanover (3-1) — Won at Sarnia May 23 and ran third at Woodbine May 29 in $18K company, trainer Loyer is on fire at 34%.
  3. Montague Velma (7-2) — $24,350 banked in 2026 alone with a Woodbine win in April, this class looks very soft for her tonight.
  4. Value Longshot: Oceanside Magic (4-1) — Led every call last out before getting caught at the wire, $29K in back class at Woodbine and Fillion is dangerous in the irons.
