Not Weekly Betting Update – NBA Who is Hot and Who Is Not

3 min read

As the NBA playoffs press on through the four conference semifinal matchups, some familiar teams are at the top of this week’s hot list at BetAnySports.

Heading into Monday night’s action, all four series are also on the brink of elimination. Cleveland and Boston are cruising towards another showdown in the Eastern Conference Finals after taking 3-0 series leads as underdogs.

The first weekend in May is jam-packed with some great opportunities

The Cavaliers have owned Toronto in the postseason the past few seasons including a four-game sweep in this round of the playoffs last season. With Saturday’s tight 105-103 victory at home as 4.5-point favorites, they are 6-1 straight-up in their last seven playoff games. Cleveland is still a tough team to bet on even when it is playing well with a 3-8 record against the spread over its last 11 outings. The total stayed UNDER 214.5 points in Game 3 against the Raptors after going OVER in its previous four games.

Game 4 is set for Monday night in Cleveland with the home team favored by 5.5 points. In an 8:30 p.m. tip on TNT, Sportsbooks have set the total line at 213.5 points. Should the Raptors find a way to keep this series alive, Game 5 is set for Wednesday in Toronto.

Boston is the second seed in the East, but it came into its series against No. 3 Philadelphia as a series price underdog. Three games later, it is in position to pull-off the sweep as a 6.5-point road underdog on Monday night. Game time on TNT is set for 6 p.m. and the total for this game is set at 204.5 points. The Celtics have won five of their last six games SU and ATS.

Houston is the top seed in the Western Conference and it holds a 3-1 series lead over New Orleans heading into Tuesday’s Game 5. The Rockets eliminated Minnesota in five games on their way to a 7-2 SU record in the playoffs while going 6-3 ATS. They are favored by 12 points at home to close this series out on Tuesday in an 8 p.m. start on TNT. Delmar Sportsbook’s total is set at 209.

With three SU victories in four games against New Orleans, the Golden State Warriors are just one more win away from their fourth-straight trip to the conference finals. They have been opened as 12-point home favorites for a 10:30 p.m. start this Tuesday night on TNT. The total line for that game has been set at 227.5 points.
