What a treat we have in store for us on Saturday night as two top 20 teams get it going for supremacy in the West Coast Conference. The Zags are the only undefeated team left in the country, and this is really the last big chance they have to lose a game this regular season as they travel to the super tough and 22 win Gaels.
Both these teams are as hot as can be as the Zags have won 25 straight and St. Mary’s has won 7 straight coming onto this epic tilt. McKeon Pavilion is going to be on fire, but the biggest question is can the Gaels use that home court advantage to take down the most complete team in the nation.
There will be moments where it will looks like the Zags are on the ropes, but in the end it will be too much. Nigel Williams-Goss, who I think will take over this game and the Gonzaga defense, will make some huge stops late that will get the job done against a St. Mary’s team that is going to be primed for a deep run of their own come March Madness.
7.4 DTM Bagels and Locks on the Bulldogs (GONZ -4)
