It’s a stacked 12-race program on July 11th with a post time of 6:30 PM, headlined by a $75,000 Guaranteed Early Pick 5 running through the first five races. The card offers a good mix — three-year-old pacing and trotting divisions early, several competitive filly & mare pace conditions in the middle, and some deeper class/older pacer events (including a couple of NW$21,500-$24,000L4CD spots) rounding out the back half. There’s also a Late Pick 4, Late Pick 5, and a Jackpot Hi-5 in the finale for those chasing bigger payouts.

Overall it’s a well-matched, bettable card — no race looks like a total lock, there are live longshots scattered throughout, and the class droppers in races 6, 9, 10 and 12 add some good value opportunities. Good luck out there.

  2. #4 Cold Creek Fuego (7-2) – Has paced two sub-1:49 miles at higher class recently and should be much more aggressive back at this level.
  3. #1 Fated Fire (8-1) – Consistently finishing in the money against the same top-class rival; drops into a more manageable spot.

LONGSHOT VALUE: #8 Shes A Streaker (10-1) – Found cover for the first time in a while last week and finished with a strong closing sprint; more of the same could get her into the mix late.

RACE 4 — Pace, 3yo Grassroots

TOP 3:

  1. #7 Another Great Mass (3-1) – Was made the betting favorite last start off a series win and gets a good inside post tonight.
  2. #1 Sendi Ka (7-2) – Continues to improve every start since requalifying and tried the front last week with success.
  3. #4 The Green Gazoo (5-1) – Won gate-to-wire at Grand River last month and is dropping back into an easier Woodbine spot.

LONGSHOT VALUE: #6 Silver Detector (6-1) – Wire-to-wire winner in four of his last six starts; only had trouble in a troubled last outing and gets a live catch-driver in Roy.

  3. #2 Captain Hurley (10-1) – Competed well in the first two legs of a recent Pop Up series and gets to sit a fair trip tonight.

LONGSHOT VALUE: #9 Waterloo (10-1) – Class dropper who flashes gate speed; wide post allows him to tuck in behind the pace and save ground for a late run.

RACE 7 — Trot, 5yo & Younger, NW3(FM4)/$50,000

TOP 3:

  1. #6 Maize And Blue (9-2) – Riding a four-race win streak with the best post tonight; simply the class of this field right now.

LONGSHOT VALUE: #9 Bajan Firefly (10-1) – Just paced the fastest mile of his career with a sub-53 closing half; if he can leave a touch quicker, he’s fast enough to be live late.

RACE 9 — Pace, NW$24,000L4

TOP 3:

  1. #7 Brue Hanover (2-1) – Has been facing the best older pacers on the grounds and gets a big class relief that should let him control the race on the front end.

  3. #1 Jims First Date (5-1) – Improved sharply his last two starts, closing for second behind the top pick; more of the same gets him a share again.

LONGSHOT VALUE: #6 Major Miki (6-1) – Won his last qualifier and has been competitive in his limited starts; capable of a forward run.

RACE 12 — Pace, NW$2,700L4/NW$5,000L8

LONGSHOT VALUE: #8 Bet The Bb (10-1) – Scored a wire-to-wire win last month at a similar level and is capable of another forward move if he gets loose again early.
