RACE 1

5 Arties Ideal put away the first over attacker and held off the pocket sitter on way to front stepping victory. Call to repeat. 7 Wildriverbubmlebee was the first over thorn. First time Louis had sat behind since last years pop up. His choice over 8 Midnight Mood another first leg winner who had to do it first over. 3 Rotten Ronnie arrives from Northside. Has been out of racing over a month. Will watch closely 

RACE 2

7 Points North drops and gets away from the tricky rail spot. Imagine JD wants to go forward early. 2 American History has been terrible in 2 of last 3 but crushed in this same class in between. 1 Dreamfair Arnie B flattened out late last time. Looks for another following trip and hopefully more late pace. 6 Hesincontrol picks up McClure contender. 

RACE 3

5 Millenium Seelster got his first win of the season two back at Western. Last weeks effort good. Super sharp. 6 Night Club Hanover gapped cover in the debut for Moreau after missing 20 days. Seems to do his best when forwardly placed. 1 Outlaw Aceofspades got his tenth start of the year Monday night to make him eligible here. Effort wasn’t great but all the horses who beat have too much made to be eligible here. 7 Petipou adds lasix could be all that he needs. 

RACE 4

4 Jm Jack Of Hearts started off third over last week but lost all his cover when one cleared and another took the pocket. It wasn’t a bad effort. 5 Real Willey shuffled to ninth last week before fanning wide with mild pace. Does he go forward or do they continue with off the pace tactics? 2 Grand Poohbah left, landed third shuffled out of it. Didn’t get a clear lane until late but seemed to have some pace     7 Hail Christian has missed a few weeks but drops to a spot he looks really good at. Likely takes all kinds of tote support and has always been a tricky horse to get down. I don’t mind being against.

RACE 5

1 Last Beach took on some good aged horses in his latest in Lexington and gave a good effort. Switches back to nw3 types in here and looks to fit well. 7 Acapulco Sunburn jogged in here last time. Looks to do it again. 8 Forefather was pacing hardest near the wire last week. Goes in for the tag. 4 Jabberwocky crushed in his return to Canada not sure if those tactics work against this group 

RACE 6

5 Sintra super sharp but hasn’t had any racing luck in a long time . Single at a short price in here. 6 Saulsbrook Victor what a season for the Source Of Pride gelding. Looks to add to those totals. 3 Woodmere Stealdeal has look like a winner at times in his last four. Has settled for third in all of those efforts. I’ll slot him there again. 2 Legion Seelster seems logical to crack the top 4. 

RACE 7

3 Springbridge Jim ships in off a win against cheaper at Rideau.  Normally competitive at this level here 9 Bluemoon Bayama missed over a month and added lasix. Back to Moreau barn where he didn’t have a lot of luck in a previous stint. But all those races were against much tougher. 5 Smart Thinking was three wide for almost a quarter mile before he blew up in his latest. 4 Menlo Park couldn’t get there off a sweet trip last time. Smaller share predicted 

RACE 8

3 Rays Kredit did everything right in his Yates barn debut. Call to repeat. 4 Bettorbeflyin couldn’t get to Rays Credit but they were well clear of the rest of the field. 1 Century Hannibal not many wins this year and off a long layoff. 5 Partyintheshadows hasn’t been to useful in the Auciello barn but maybe he can make the top 4 here. 

RACE 9

6 Wheels On Fire has been doing good work lately. The big guy is fun to cheer for. 5 Century Heineken maybe this guy wins last week if he gets a lane. 1 No Free Lunch got shut down in June and since returning has been great. Maybe he can bring some value underneath. 3 Codename Cigar Box is always close and doing his best work late. 

RACE 10/11 + MULTIS

Race 10

2 Actor Hanover had missed three weeks and got jammed in the two hole. James choice. 5 Highlandbeachlover has gotten one cheque since he was vet listed august 27th. Bit of a now or never spot. 8 Pointtomygranson who didn’t offer up much resistance last week. This is a horse who can rebound quickly off of a bad effort.  6 Letsgetpickled had to grind it first over last week. 

Race 11

1 Uncontrollable win shy type but was dominant first over winner against these last time.  5 Little Manny good effort last time. Hopefully is closer this week. 4 Woodmere Fenn tripped out and held second. Looks to do it again. 2 The Boss Said has gotten really soft late his last two. Needs to show more. 9 El Gladiator just win Wednesday at Flam but gets a tricky post.
