Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots 8:25 p.m. Thursday, CBS (PATS -8)
The Fins have lost 12 of thier last 14 in N.E, but they also haven’t come in to Gillete Stadium playing like a hybrid of the 86 Bears and 99 Greatest Show on Turf Rams either. Miami Fires Joe “Regis” Philbin after thier loss in London and all of the sudden are playing some of the best football in the NFL. Can it keep up against one of the best teams in the league? Survey says no!

While the Fins rise the last couple weeks has been impressive they have done it against inferior teams and the Dan Campbell effect could come to a crashing halt against one of the leagues highest scoring offenses who come off a close shave against another AFC East team in the Jets.

What impressed me most about that win over the Jets last week is that New England had yet to be tested that way this season, a physical team that took them out of their game, and they found a way to combat it and come right back at the very physical Jets. Miami while playing well now has had a ton of trouble most of this season playing consistent football on both sides of the ball and while the offense has exploded the past two week I look for it to slow down in a major way tonight in a place where the Dolphins have struggled to win forever.

Look for Miami to be in the game early, but for the Pats to slowly destroy their will and win this one going away.
