Two teams heading in different directions recently kick off some MaCtion on Friday night in Oxford, Ohio. The Chips, the darlings of the early season with their miracle win at Oklahoma State have lost two in a row to drop to 5-4.
Miami, who simply is not that good a team right now, has won three in a row after an 0-6 start. So something’s gotta give right?
What has to give is that CMU is way more talented than the Redhawks and this line seems completely too low to me based on what both these squads have. The Chips have Redshirt Senior QB Cooper Rush who is one of the better signal callers outside of the Power 5 and he will be ready to get his team back on track against the weaker Hawks.
Look for this game to be tight early with the RedHawks fired up behind their fans on national TV, but for Rush and the Chips to gain some separation early in the second half against a Hawks defense that gives up a ton of yards and points. I am having you buy down to 3 (line has moved to 3) cause that is a key betting number in football, but truly am not that worried about Central winning this game going away and getting back on track for a decent bowl game this season.
7.4 DTM Bagels and Locks on the Chippewas (CENTRAL MICHIGAN -3)
