BetAnySports Weekend Betting Preview – Sept. 9-11

It is wall-to-wall football at BetAnySports this weekend with the start of the NFL regular season. The college ranks get things going on Friday night with a pair of matchups involving a trio of teams from the ACC including No. 13 Louisville in its conference opener against Syracuse. The non-stop betting action continues all the way to a highly anticipated showdown between New England and Arizona in the season premier of Sunday Night Football.

After a wild Week 1 in college football were a trio of top-ranked teams went down in defeat, things quiet down a bit on this Saturday’s schedule in the absence of any head-to-head matchups between nationally ranked teams. No. 1 Alabama will play host to Western Kentucky as a 29-point favorite and BetAnySports has set the total line for this game at 61.5 points. The Crimson Tide are coming off an impressive 52-6 dismantling of then-ranked USC as 13-point favorite. They took the 51.5-point total OVER on their own in that game.

No. 2 Clemson got past Auburn 19-13 in its season opener as an 8.5-point road favorite and this Saturday it will open its home schedule against Troy as a prohibitive 36-point favorite with the total set at 63.5. Staying in the ACC, No. 3 Florida State will also be at home against Charleston Southern after beating Ole Miss 45-34 this past Monday night as a 4.5-point favorite.

Rounding out the current top five teams on the latest AP Top 25 are Ohio State and Michigan. The Buckeyes face Tulsa this week as 28.5-point home favorites after crushing Bowling Green 77-10 last week as 27.5-point home favorite. The Wolverines face Central Florida as 35.5-point home favorites after hammering Hawaii 63-3 as 36.5-point favorites at home.

The NFL season gets underway this Sunday with a trio of intriguing division matchups on the slate. Tampa Bay goes on the road against Atlanta in the NFC South as a three-point underdog with a 47.5-point total line and San Diego will open its season as a seven-point road underdog against Kansas City in an AFC West showdown. The total for that game has been set at 44.5.The highlight of the day takes us to the NFC East where the New York Giants invade AT&T Stadium to face the Dallas Cowboys. BetAnySports has listed this division tilt as a PICK and the betting line for the total has been set at 46.
