N.F.L. Week 6 Predictions

Week 6 is upon us in the National Football League and I will say this again,” you can toss out the home field advantage in 2020 because it flat out doesn’t exist”.

This weekend we begin with the following games and do remember there is NO such thing as a lock in football so don’t believe the hype you get from any of those paid services.

Game # 1 Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers
Browns vs Steelers Line: Steelers -4.0 (over/under 51.0)
Don’t sound the horn to loud for my Cleveland Browns who have not lost a game since the opening week.Since the opening week loss the Browns have averaged almost 38 ppg but look who they’ve played.
The task at hand this week becomes the Pittsburgh Steelers who are 4-0.

Cleveland 5-0 div RD’s 7 < pts… 0-3 bef Cin… 1-9 1st of BB div gms
PITTSBURGH SERIES: Host 4-0… 7-1 3rd straight HG… 5-1 Game FIve.
Prediction :Take the points in a game of whoever scores last wins this one .
Cleveland 27-24 ( Take the +4.0)

Game # 2 Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles
Ravens vs Eagles Line: Ravens -7.5 (over/under 47.5)
I have to say you will see the Philadelphia Eagles exit this week with a 1-4-1 record. John Harbaugh’s team has won eight straight
(7-0-1 vs. line) as a visitor but as mentioned above home field advantage no longer exist during the Covid-19 season.

Baltimore SERIES: 3-1 L4… 6-0 aft Cin… 6-0 as RF’s 5 > pts
PHILADELPHIA 5-0 1st of 3 straight HG… 6-1 Game Six… 0-3 aft Pit.
Prediction: Ravens 34, Eagles 16 (Lay the -7.5)

NFL Week 6 Sunday Night Football
Game # 3 Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Rams vs 49ers Line: Rams -3.5 (over/under 50.5)
The Rams sit at 4-1 and have played better on both sides of the line in 2020.

The Niners riding a 0-3 SUATS home losing skid and in a close divisional game you can flip a coin in this one.

LA Rams SERIES: Visitor 4-1… 7-1 L8 div RG… 8-3 Game Six
SAN FRAN 5-1 aft non-conf HG… 7-3 aft Mia… 1-6 L7 as div HF’s

The 49ers are 11-17-1 ATS in that situation since Shanahan took over in 2017. The Rams are a league-best 20-8 on the road since Sean McVay became their head coach also in 2017. LA RAMS 27-13.
Prediction:Rams 34, 49ers 23 (Lay the -3.5)

Good luck with your selections
