ATLANTA HAWKS AT WASHINGTON WIZARDS GAME 5 (SERIES TIED 2-2)

Wednesday, April 26th, 6 PM

TV: FOX SPORTS SE, CSNW

(Current America’s Bookie‘s Line WIZARDS -5.5 TOTAL 212.5)

The Wiz got themselves back in game four on the road after being down by nine at the half and actually tied the game, but then it was an absolute barrage by the Hawks in the 4th quarter from everywhere on the court to take control of the game and win it going away to tie the series at two games a piece. This has been an interesting series as in neither team really has been trustworthy, but I am really starting to buy into the Hawks being the more trustworthy of the two squads right now.

This is “Will Robinson Danger Time” in the Nation’s capital cause the Hawks have their true mojo back and are getting contributions from everywhere on the floor and not just from stars Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard. Dennis Schroder had a huge game four and was draining them with authority from downtown, and the Hawks got some great bench production as well from Kent Bazemore and Jose Calderon.

The Wizards have played much better at home than on the road as of late, but even with the great play of John Wall as of late and the ability for Bradley Beal to take over games, there is something missing right now with the Wizards. I look for this game to be tight throughout and for the Wizards to maybe even be trailing in the second half. I just see too little value to lay the 5.5 here with Washington and think not only can Atlanta keep it close throughout, but after that game four confidence building win, might just win this one outright.
