OVER/UNDER Lock for Monday Night Football

2 min read

Is anyone else getting beaten up by the NFL wagers like I am this year? I’m down to my last bet, and I’m going to make it count. Who’s with me? After many hours of research, I’ll be putting my money where my mouth is on the OVER/UNDER tonight for Monday Night Football.

The NFC South leading SAINTS (10-3) host the  Colts (6-7) on MNF at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana. The Colts are currently residing just above the lowly Jags in the AFC South basement, Tonight’s match-up has the New Orleans Saints coming off a loss. New Orleans coach Sean Payton said the seeds.

“We’re going to be in one of those three spots and the focus has to be on improving and playing the Colts.” Drew Brees rushed for a score against the 49ers and threw for five more to boost his career passing touchdown total to 537, three shy of surpassing Peyton Manning for most in NFL history.

Manning’s initial NFL team, Indianapolis, has seen its generous defense surrender 89 points during a three-game losing skid to push the club to the brink of elimination from postseason contention. “The outcomes are the outcomes,” Colts linebacker Darius Leonard said. “You look at the good and the bad. You can’t just throw it to the side. You have to look what went well, what went wrong.”

The O/U for tonight’s game opened at 44, but has since been pushed up to 47.5 you can bet this  game right now at Americasbookie

If you are unfamiliar with how wagering on the UNDER/OVER or TOTAL, you can read everything you need to know here.

NFL teams off a 40/40 game (scored AND allowed 40+ pts last week) have gone 23-11 O/U (68% Overs) in their next game. These results improve to 18-6 O/U (75% Overs) in GAME SIX or greater. And for the ULTIMATE database ‘tightener’, we note that: When the OU line in these games is 50 or LESS points, the OVER percentage shoots all the way up to 93% (13-1 O/U). So we’ll be looking for OU history to repeat itself’ this week in  SAINTS vs COLTS.

My Pick is Under 47.5
